Roving around Camp Sussex, one will eventually enter the mess hall. This building is still pretty well stocked with brightly colored dishware even though the rest of the shelves are barren. In the dining room of the mess hall, nature has started to retake the grounds, as broken glass litters the floor.

King's Park Psychiatric Center-Building 93
King's Park Psychiatric Center was a psychiatric institute that utilized the farm layout. At its heyday, KPPC was completely self sufficient and featured it's own power plant. Like with other facilities of it's kind, patients were encouraged to work to promote mental health. Building 93 was the male ward and in recent years, fallen into disrepair. Gaining entry involved squeezing through a 10 inch gap in a boarded and welded window. Once inside, the temperature was cooler and it was awe-inspiring and unsettling to have full run of the multi-story ward alone. Building 93 is not slated for demolition this month, being spared the fate of 15 other buildings on the campus for now. It is also not for the faint of heart.
