As Safe As Houses, Part One

In this rural area, once the economy starts to dwindle, farming goes right along with it.  The Ex Produce Farm was most likely a family run operation which now sits dilapidated in the country side.  Between the barn, house, wishing well, and skeleton of a green house, the elements slowly wear down the property just as the economy wore down its owners.

This house, The Mold House, is just down the road from the Ex Produce Farm.  Upon entry, an explorer's nose is assaulted with the stench of rot and damp.  Taking precaution against organisms that thrive in such conditions, the following photographs were taken carefully perched on support beams, as the wood floor was softened by water and time.  The Mold House once had a family in it.  Now it's tin roof flaps in the breeze and bit by bit, falls to ground.

Letchworth Village, Part 4.

Letchworth Village, like most of the self sustaining village style institutions, housed a power plant.  The water pipe supplied water to the entire site, while the power plant enabled Letchworth to generate power for the buildings on campus.  Now it sits derelict, with shattered windows and asbestos warnings.  Remember, employees only.
